Pets are a large part of many people's everyday lives, however a percentage of these people are allergic to the animals they care for so much. It is estimated the more then 60 percent of U.S. households have a cat or dog, the animals most people with pet allergies react to. The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI) estimate that 54.6 percent of Americans are living with allergies and somewhere between 10 to 30 percent of these people have pet allergies. There is good news though; Marshall's Earth's Balance line has an all-natural product that will make life easier for those who are allergic to their cats or dogs.

Dander Free is a safe and natural product that reduces the amount of allergens found on cats and dogs. However, it is important to understand that you are not allergic to the fur of the animal, rather the dander, saliva, and, potentially, dust that is found in the animals fur. Dander, or skin flakes, is the main allergen from cats and dogs, when mixed with saliva these particles become sticky. When released into the air these particles can easily become attached to clothing, walls, carpeting, etc. These sticky particles then travel to cars, stores, and other homes. Dander Free contains aggressive beneficial bacteria that love to eat organic waste such as dander, or skin flakes, as well as saliva, which can cause allergic reactions; sneezing wheezing, running nose and itchy/watery eyes.

However dogs and cats are not the only animals that contain a high level of allergens; birds have also been found to spread a large amount of allergens. Birds carry allergy-provoking mites, molds and pollen in their feathers. Their droppings can release proteins into the air that also can cause more sever allergic reactions such as asthma attacks. Marshall's Earth's Balance line also has a product that will help with these allergies, Avian Solution. This solution is also a safe, all-natural, spray that leaves birds feathers clean, fresh, and vibrant. Avian Solution can also be used when cleaning birdcages to reduce the waste allergens.

It is important to note that these products will remove most allergens, but some will still remain. Both Dander Free and Avian Solution can be sprayed as often as needed to help ease the burden of allergens. Allergic individuals should avoid snuggling or kissing pets and should always wash hands and face after grooming or playing with pets to remove dander. Also, nothing beats a bathing your pet to help remove some of the dander allergen. It is recommended that both dogs and cats be bathed regularly. Cats exposed to water and being bathed from an early age tend not to mind being washed. DO NOT use an antibacterial shampoo when bathing animals being treated with Dander Free as these shampoos will kill the good bacteria that are helping to reduce dander.
